Dalekovod TKS
The company began operations back in 1972 as the Energoinvest facility in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. It had recently operated under the name of Energoinvest – Tvornica dalekovodnih stubova i konstrukcija a.d. (factory for transmission line columns and structures) and located in Doboj. Today, it is within the major ownership of the company DALEKOVOD d.d. located in Zagreb, the Republic of Croatia, and along with companies from Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany, Poland, and Croatia, is a member of the DALEKOVOD group.
The capacity of factory amounts to approx. 20,000 tones of transmission line, lighting and perforated antenna and polygonal masts including various metal structures. Since its founding, the factory has manufactured and commissioned transmission line structures, masts for lighting and equipment for cable cars and ski lifts amounting to over 300,000 tones in 30 countries throughout the world, with significant exports occurring in the following countries: USA, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Norway, Sri Lanka, Thailand, etc.
Cable cars were installed on the following mountains: Bjelašnica, Kopaonik, Jahorina, Žabljak, Bjelolasica, Platak, Igman, Brezovica, Resen, Kolašin, Kranjska Gora, Niže Polje, Jezerine.
Today, the factory has become a specialized company for the production of masts and structures for electrical and telecommunication utilities, equipment for motorways and railway lines, which includes product protection using the hot galvanizing method in Dugo Selo, the Republic of Croatia.
